This privacy policy explains which personal data Lumann collects when you visit lumann.nl or place an order, why we do so, and what your rights are.

We are responsible for the processing of your personal data.
What data we collect
Order data. When you place an order, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and the details of your order.
Payment data. Payments are processed by Shopify and the payment provider. We do not receive or store any credit card or bank details ourselves.
Device data. When you visit the website, data is collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, time zone, the pages you view and which website or search term brought you to us. This is done with cookies and similar technologies.
Contact. When you email or call us, we keep your message and contact details so we can help you.
How we use your data
- To process, ship and invoice your order
- To contact you about your order, return or question
- To prevent fraud and misuse
- To improve the website
- To meet legal obligations, such as the tax retention requirement
We only use your data for advertising or newsletters if you have given your consent.
Who we share your data with
We never sell your data. We only share it with parties needed to fulfil your order:
- Shopify, the platform behind our webshop and payment processing
- Our fulfilment centre in Tholen, which packs and ships your order
- The carrier (such as PostNL), which delivers your parcel
We have agreements with these parties to protect your data. Shopify may process data outside the European Union, including in Canada and the United States. This is done with the legally required safeguards.
We may also share data when the law requires us to.
We use functional cookies that are needed for the website to work, such as your shopping cart. We only place analytical and marketing cookies if you give your consent via the cookie banner.
How long we keep your data
- Order and invoice data: 7 years, as required by law
- Email or phone contact: up to 2 years after the last contact
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data
- have your data corrected or deleted
- restrict or object to the processing
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time
Send your request to info@lumann.nl. We will respond within one month.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Minors
Our website is not intended for persons under 16 without permission from a parent or guardian.
